A New Neighborhood

I'm thinking about packing up my BiblioAddict bags and heading to a different neighborhood. Head over to this address, look in the closets, scope out the piping and the lighting and tell me what you think...

That's a pretty sweet set up over there. I like it. That Mr Bean video however made me very uncomfortable. Usually he's a riot, but that....

Thanks Kookiejar! Yeah, I felt incrediby uncomfortable too when I watched that video. I think the scariest part was the white-out...Talk about sending shivers down you spine.

I like the looks of the new place.

I've heard several folks talk about moving from the Blogger software to something else. I find Blogger pretty easy to work with and haven't been tempted to move...what are the advantages that you see to moving to something else? Just curious, thanks.

Like your new place. I converted my blogger blog to wordpress back in January and am so much happier with it. Have you decided to move or are you stil testing the waters and thinking about it?

Sam - Thanks Sam! I've tried moving to wordpress before and had decided that it was a bit too complicated to navigate; Blogger's software is easier, I think. The plus side, however, is that wordpress does offer better templates and I think, once you get the hang of it, it offers better and easier site management with built-in programs similar to Sitemeter and a page that notifies you when someone has created a link to your blog. If I do decide to move, it will take some getting used to though...

Stephanie - Thank you! I haven't made the final decision to move yet. I'm really sentimental about these kinds of things so I want to be sure that if I do pack up and go, I won't regret it. Did you find your transition from blogger to wordpress a little difficult to get used to at first?

I noticed your new blog and wondered what was going on. Looks nice, but I have to admit I really like the name BiblioAddict.

I've tagged you for a new meme over at my blog, no pressure!

I'm rather partial to the name biblioaddict myself too, but unfortunately biblioaddict.wordpress.com is already taken. : ( I haven't tried variations on the address though...
